Flying O Fencing is a family owned and operated business based out of Townsend, Montana. The owner, Andrew Christensen, was born in Helena and raised in rural Townsend. After graduating from Broadwater High School in 2007 Andrew received his welding degree from UM Helena College of Technology. He then served a mission for two years in Mexico City, Mexico. Upon his return, he decided to pursue an education in diesel technology with an associate degree in business administration at WYOTECH in Laramie, Wyoming. After graduating he worked for two years as a field technician for New Holland of Belgrade and spent another two years working as a mechanic for the KG Ranch in Three Forks before deciding to launch his own business in the spring of 2017.
Andrew and his wife, Julie Flynn, enjoy their two busy little girls, Keira age 4 and 2-year-old Grace. His wife, Julie, enjoys her full-time job as a mom but also works on her family’s Red Angus cattle ranch, runs a dog training business, and does the marketing and advertising for Flying O Fencing.
Andrew’s previous work experiences, love of the outdoors, and hard work ethic paired with a lot of drive and determination fueled his decision to start his own fencing company. He enjoys the challenge of project design and the opportunity to learn and grow from each job. He strives for efficiency, high quality of work and materials, and to provide excellent customer service.
In its first season the company grew from primarily fences and is proud to now offer a variety of other services including continuous steel fence, shelters, snow removal, remodels, decks, and more. We take a great amount of pride in our work and will stand by our promise to give our customers the best possible product that is completed in a timely manner. We are fully licensed and insured and make our employees a priority as well by doing our best to provide a positive work environment.
